Velisa’s place has the best staff in Dar, who go out of their way to help with any need. They even helped me get laundry done and other small logistics in preparation for my drive to Nairobi. The restaurant is also excellent, with so many healthy options. There was a safe place for me to park my overland vehicle

A lovely spot to stay for a few nights in Dar with everything you need in the room (AC, fan, comfortable bed, bottled water/coffee/tea, hot shower) & easy walking distance to many of the Masaki area offerings. I really appreciated how responsive Velisa was in planning my stay & the staff on site were all helpful. I was able to enjoy the vegetarian food at the Kind Earth Eatery before leaving, which was an extra treat for a veggie traveler - I will be back!

Velisa was nice to communicate directions. Her place is as described and the room I stayed in was very clean with no clatter. The supply of teas and biscuits was a nice touch. The young man who checked me in was pleasant. The place was quiet and the gates get closed early. Unfortunately I did not sample the food though the menu looked very good. If you like a very quiet place with little interaction then this your place.

Little oasis in Dar es Salaam with an excellent restaurant and even secure parking for my overland vehicle. The staff was beyond kind, helpful, and accommodating. Loved all the flowers and gardens. Rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Killer value. The night security team member Onnex was a total joy and even took the time to clean my vehicle and then wake at 1:30 am to make sure I caught my Uber. Wonderful spot And the food!

Comfortable unit and property. Easy to get to locations around Masaki from there using Uber or other services.
