My stay at Irina's Airbnb home was nothing short of delightful. Tucked away in a serene neighborhood, her charming home exuded warmth and tranquility from the moment I arrived. The description on the site perfectly captured the essence of her home, complete with chickens clucking happily in the backyard and a lush organic garden teeming with produce. What truly set my experience apart, however, was the genuine warmth with which Irina welcomed me into her home. Starting with a heartfelt greeting and helpfulness throughout my stay, her hospitality was much appreciated. I especially loved enjoying my morning coffee out in the garden every day. I cannot recommend Irina's home enough for those seeking a peaceful retreat infused with heartfelt hospitality.
This was such a wonderful experience. The room was wonderful and so comfortable you walked into the home and just felt comfortable. Irina was Incredibly welcoming and always had fresh fruits and eggs as well. Would absolutely recommend a stay here!
I'm happy I got to stay at Irina's place. It was such a great experience for so many reasons. Irina is a great host. Communicative and welcoming. She generously gave me a tour of her garden, and eating passionfruit and blood oranges from there was a treat. I slept so well during my stay. It's so quiet at night, and the room has plenty of windows if you want fresh air. I love that all of your toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc.) are included; one less thing to pack. The bedding was comfortable; the room had filtered water pitchers when I arrived. You can tell it's essential to Irina that people feel at home all the while your privacy is respected. I highly recommend this place.
Really enjoyed being close to los pensaquitos and the beaches! Irina was very helpful and kind, and her garden is gorgeous

Hello Guests! Thank you for considering staying with me during your visit to San Diego. Where ever you are coming for business, pleasure, or to visit family, I think you will enjoy my rooms and my perfect location. I’ve been in San Diego since 1992, but I was born and grew up in Russia, during Soviet Union time. All my family, relatives and friends still live there. Thanks to modern internet Its easy to be connected with them even on a daily basis. During my childhood I dreamed to be able to travel world and get to know different cultures. I am glad that by being a host all those fascinating cultures coming to my house. Also, I visited many countries on my own: India, Portugal, France, Italy, Nederland, Belgium, Spain and Iceland. I set up and modify my house to be sustainable as much as it is possible living in a busy city. When you are going to stay here I would love to share with you my discoveries, accomplishments and mistakes in that field. I am vegetarian and having house with a garden makes it very convenient. Right now, I been treating guest with seasonal fruits and berries. I am biologist-scientist by education. I work in a local University (UCSD) for last 20 years as a lab manager. Working with young and talented people is fun! I am a mother of 2 grown up kids which were born and raised in San Diego: son Kirill and daughter Vasilisa. My son is living together with me, he is helping me to run my listings. You will see him helping you during your stay here. My daughter moved to Iceland, she is musically talented, star-in-making, check on You tube (Vasilisa Hunton) her latest songs and video clips. I am a tango dancer. Ask me about local Argentinian Tango classes and Milongas. Come along with me to a Saturday Milonga! I love running in the morning and hiking. California has lots of challenging trails to discover.
