Stella's listing is a beautiful cabin. The location is a bit of hike from the train station Zagarolo which is the closest to the property. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk. There are no side walks and be mindful of people driving because they're not all mindful of pedestrians. It was safe at night but again it's a distance from the Zagarolo train station. It's approximately a 30 minute ride to Roma Termini which is the main transportation station. Once you're at Roma Termini, you can basically travel anywhere. I would buy the train tickets either online or at Roma Termini because at Zagarolo Station you can only use your credit card which would be an additional fee on your credit card if you're not from Europe. You should be prepared to be back at Roma Termini by 10 pm or earlier to get back to Zagarolo. If you're not back on time, be prepared to pay approximately 80 or more euros for a taxi cab. If you've rented a car, you will be fine. The property is gated as listed. The house is a cabin, so it's wooden and brick and it retains moisture. It did get a bit muggy at times. It was furnished well, there is a Queens size bed up-top and a pull out couch on the bottom. There is one bathroom in each cabin/ home. The home with the kitchen has a stand up small shower stall. The home with the bed has a bath tub as described in the listing, which is difficult for a taller person or someone with back or knee issues. It has a beautiful terrace with an amazing view. They have vineyards, a "cagli" fruit tree which can bring about nats and MOSQUITOES in the area. They also have geckos or lizards not sure what to call them. If you're the type to be afraid of all nature's elements and creatures, this may not be the place for you. The Mosquitoes are heavyweight mosquitoes! Lol. They have a washer but no dryer and there is no dryer within a close distance. I'll just say prepare to wait for your clothes to dry outside or within the cabin that again retains moisture. It will be a while for your clothes to dry unless it's super hot outside. Please note, my friend and I visited there in October. We had sufficient silverware and dishware. Please bring your own paper towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, Air freshener, and OFF bug spray. They did provide toilet paper but it wasn't readily available when we first arrived. There is a Conad market approximately 5 minutes from the Zagarolo train station. Also make sure to bring a Italian/English conversion dictionary. The home does have WiFi but it is not as fast or as effective. Stella also has some books about Rome, that were helpful to us. Other than that, this place is located in a beautiful and safe area. Stella will provide excellent directions from the Zagarolo train station to her home and you will most likely meet Sergio, who manages the property. We never met Stella, most of our communication was via WhatsApp or Airbnb messenger. I hope this helps the next person who stays there.

L'alloggio è bellissimo, come in foto e forse anche meglio... Posto ideale per godersi dei giorni di relax con possibilità di raggiungere Roma in circa mezz'ora di treno. Il signor Sergio è stato super disponibile per tutto. Assolutamente consigliato

Rustic charm but we left because of mosquitoes inside. Be prepared for remote location without support from host.

Stella’s place was stunning and unique. Beautiful converted wine cellar tucked away amidst vineyards. Sergio, the Airbnb’s care taker was gracious and good to us. He took care of our check in even when our train was an hour late. He was very thorough and conscientious of our needs. Great place!
