Jěrome’s place is very well located away from the buzzing of town and surrounded by beautiful Jungle sounds! It is tricky to stay there if your knees aren’t in a great condition due to the stairs and if you aren’t an animal’s lover! Jêrome’s place is almost a self sustainable place.

Staying at Jerome’s made our stay in Salento. The place was beautiful, with all of the necessary amenities and not to mention the amazing view. What made it all worth it was the genuine hospitality from the staff. Anna, Jose and Wilson treated us like family and went above and beyond guiding us through our trip. We hope to be back very soon.

Honest review of our experience. The place is very secluded with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sound of birds and going to sleep to an orchestra of lightning when it rains is magical. Ana and Jose were lovely to us during our stay and Jerome's suggestions were useful. However we had some issues with our stay. The floors were dirty which looked like it was cleaned with a mop that left mud stains on the floor. This left a bad smell in the room. Also there were dirty spoons in the room. The other issue we encountered was the very loud drip of rain from the trees above onto the metal roof. Unfortunately during our stay it rained a lot. Whilst it is lovely to have the view, it would have also been nice to have curtains to block out the light at night. Finally, it's important to know that there is a 300m walk on the jungle in the dark if you come after sunset. Overall, great potential but needs tiidying up around the edges which doesn't fit the price

Unfortunately we didnt meet Jèrôme but we were left in the capable and amazing hands of Ana and José. Jérôme was great at communication and gave us lots of advice for things to do locally. We were just out of town and we were very grateful as it was Easter. Just a short walk to the bus and then 15 mins into town, so we had the best of both worlds. The balcony was gorgeous and so peaceful, great to hang out during the rain. Lots of space. Roasting hot shower. Also lots of gorgeous animals onsite to chat to. All in all would highly recommend Á&H
