The house is nice and checking in and out was flawless. All communication with the host was done by texting which may result in miscommunication. For example, there was an issue with disposing of garbage and recycled materials. The instructions were clear about handling trash and recycled materials. There were 2 garbage containers, one inside the garage and the other one outside. Toward the end of the stay, the outside garbage container was found full of trash bags that appeared not to be sorted out according to the host's instructions. The container inside the garage also contained 2 trash bags. As a result, after informing the host of the situation, the host appeared to question this finding, which caused us (the guests) to wonder what we needed to do with our trash and recycling bags. We did not want to mix our garbage and recycled bags with someone else's stuff to avoid the appearance we had not complied with the host's instructions.

Beautiful home, scenic setting, easy access to main roads, fully loaded kitchen, everything provided to make you feel right at home. Definitely worth a stay at this centrally located home in Stowe.

I can't say enough great things about Matthew and his place. Our other Airbnb cancelled an hour before we were supposed to check in, during the holidays no less. Matthew was responsive and super easy to work with on our short time frame. The house was a great size, and an awesome place for our family to gather and hang out. The beds were comfortable, the location was close to town and to the mountains. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!
