Amberley Cottage was absolutely perfect! Jed was there on arrival & is super friendly & provided lots of local dog friendly recommendations. Amberley cottage is very homely with great amenities. The cottage had everything you could need including a great kitchen, comfortable bedroom & lovely large bathroom which included a hot powerful shower. The cottage is beautifully decorated & extremely homely & the underfloor heating was more than adequate on chilly evenings! Great outdoor space for Eddie (🐶) which was private, safe & secure+ample parking right outside the cottage. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful with great walks on the doorstep and the south downs a few minutes drive away. Bramber is very close & has a couple of places to eat/drink but Steyning village is also accessible by foot & has more to offer with lots of places to eat & drink as well as some lovely independent shops. Could not fault this property & could happily stay longer.. recommended!!

We booked a last minute trip to get away before the new year (with my husband and dog). Very glad we did - Jed's place was perfect. We were welcomed with cake (absolutely delicious) and bubbles. The cottage had everything we needed (even a towel for our dog!). The xmas decorations were lovely too. The location is great - lovely walk near the cottage & a short driving distance to several areas, including Brighton and Devils Dyke. Would definitely recommend, thank you for having us!

Having spent five weeks here you could expect my wife and I to have found some issues with the property, and yet we have absolutely nothing to complain about and everything to praise about our stay. Jed & Vanessa are very good hostes, making sure we had everything we needed and leaving us in peace most of the time, as well as being genuinely lovely people which made the stay very enjoyable. The property is immaculate and with underfloor heating meant that staying in November was a dream, plenty of parking in the courtyard and such a beautiful area to visit. Definitely went beyond our expectations

All very satisfactory. Would welcome some curtains on the door to help sleeping & a simple chopping board.
