We stayed here for a long period of time while repairs displaced us from our home. It was such a relief to walk into a home that had everything we needed - he even had food storage for leftovers and to pack lunches. State of the art appliances were easy to use. The neighborhood was peaceful and we felt comfortable going for late night walks. We will definitely recommend this place for friends coming to visit the area.

The location was near some great places to eat and as well as a beer/alcohol store within walking distance. The house itself was super close to Pere Marquette, just a 5 minute drive to get there. One negative was the sizing of the air conditioner. Had the weather been warmer, it would have taken our entire stay to cool the home to 70°; fortunately, it was pretty cool the week we were there and the air conditioner was able to keep up. The neighborhood is interesting. The neighboring houses are a mix of well maintained/manicured and run down. The locals in the neighborhood were nice and waved/smiled as I walked my dog outside. Overall, I would recommend the location for anyone wanting to visit Muskegon and the GR area!

We loved Dan’s place! The house is set up so nicely, has plenty of space, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The outdoor porches were great. We spent a lot of time eating meals outside, grilling, and playing cards around the fire pit. The location is AMAZING. It’s very walkable and close to a super cute plaza strip across from the marina where there are great restaurants, distilleries and bars, and a cute market. One of the standouts was the house is dog friendly and so are most restaurants in Muskegon!! It was so cool being able to have our dog hang out with us while we sipped cocktails at Wonderland Distillery. It was an awesome family vacation!
