We liked all the natural light, and the comfortable beds and living room, and the lovely yard. We also appreciated the quality kitchenware as we really enjoy cooking. It was convenient to be close to services and a short drive to RIT. There didn’t seem to be a working smoke alarm but I shared this with Reyita, and she is very responsive. I also appreciated her telling me about close-by grocery stores etc, as I didn’t know that area. We always appreciate being able to stay in a pleasant homelike alternative to hotels, and Reyita’s place has that comfortable relaxing feeling

Living room was cozy, spider webs inside, upstairs was too hot, toilet was not clean, faux tile wall peeling off, shower was too hot or too cold, and the hot water knob turns 360 degrees, back porch covered in cobwebs, leaves, dry grass and just dirty. Needs a lot of TLC to make worthy of the nightly price tag.

Reyita was a lovely host and really easy to communicate with. The house is a good spot for needing a place to stay in the Rochester area- close to a lots of places and stores. It’s a fairly small space and without central air it felt a little stuffy in the open concept first floor. It was hot the weekend we were there and one room had no AC unit (didn’t seem logistically possible) and the big fan was great but it was hard to sleep in there. And just a note that there’s no bathroom on the second floor (with 2 of the bedrooms) so that was not ideal. It’s a very nice alternative to a hotel and Reyita made sure the house had all you would need.

This was a find for what we were looking for, something an easy distance from college and an extra bonus that Wegmans was minutes away, priced well. There was a lot of space, too!
