Myself and 6 friends stayed for two night to witness the eclipse in April 2024. I picked it because part of the book and show, American Gods, is set here, and the mighty rivers meeting here makes it a powerful place. Fort Defiance State Park at the River Confluence was gorgeous. The house was exactly as pictured and accommodated the two couples and 3 individuals in our group comfortably. Everything was clean and had pillow, blankets, and towels galore. Kitchen was well stocked enough for us to easily make dinner. Wifi on smart TVs worked as expected. Cairo is an interesting town with a storied history that most Americans would benefit to learn about. We met multiple members of the historical society on our walk around St Marys Park and got a tour of Magnolia Manor. Everyone in town was very friendly and pleased to welcome us visitors. Always a pleasure with Kenyatta!! Stayed here before and will continue to every time I visit! Kenyatta was responsive and proactive to every request! She is continuing to upgrade this house and respond to positive feedback! She is trailblazing with this idea in a town where hotel options are over 30 minutes away. thank you Kenyatta.

Nice place for visiting friends ! Only problem was the house was very dusty to the point we were sneezing constantly we had to clear out some dust bunnies in the living area. The snacks on the counter were expired by months and the fridge wasn’t cleaned of old food. But really not a big deal we ran with it :) the host was very communicative and let us check in early which was much appreciated!
