This newly updated romantic chalet is a perfect getaway for couples or small groups looking to relax and enjoy the immediate area or go adventuring at the nearby attractions. (honeymoon, anniversary, etc) Only 45 min to Colorado Springs, close to the S. Platte River's "Dream Stream" world class angling & fishing, Wolf Sanctuary, Florissant Fossil beds, Mueller State Park, The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, the Crags, Pike's Peak & ATV-ing you can relax and unwind at the cabin or go adventuring! Bedrooms There are 2 bedrooms in the home. They both feature new super comfortable beds with brand new mattresses, high quality bedding, plenty of pillows and we provide fresh linens for your comfort. The master bedroom is downstairs and has an attached full bath. The second bedroom is loft style and overlooks the main space. It has a queen bed, nightstands with usb lamps. It has an attached half bath and outdoor balcony. The queen sleeper sofa is located in the main living area for an additional sleeping area. Laundry Room: There is an updated washer and dryer onsite, and we provide a few complimentary laundry sheets. There is an iron and ironing board as well. Bathrooms: The bathrooms are sparkling clean. Downstairs bathroom has a full-size tub with shower, and we provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, makeup towels and a starter set of spa quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We also provide hand soap, rolls of toilet paper, and a hair dryer. Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. A dual coffee maker for ground or K-cups. Range with built in air fryer. All new stainless steel appliances. Basic items like cooking spray, oil, spices, etc are left as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Occasionally we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks that may be left behind from other guests. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. Common Areas: Guests do not have access to community lakes or common areas. The lake is owned by a corporation and only allows members to have use and is strictly enforced. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the views and walk around the lake in designated areas at their leisure. House Manual: There is a detailed house manual with everything that you could ever possibly need to know about the space and the local area, including Wi-Fi information, device instructions, contact information. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home. Detached garage is not available for guests. Please complete a walkthrough of the house/property before departure to ensure no valuables are left behind. Be advised we are not responsible for any items/valuables misplaced or left behind. The roads are well kept by the county. If it snows more than a 2 inches we have our driveway plowed and walkway shoveled for guests. There is a flat area to park near garage. Please be sure to park on upper driveway near garage. The lower level driveway can be difficult even when plowed. Guests are not allowed to use garage. The cabin is open and accessible year round and are well maintained by the county and plowed after snow. Please make sure you are traveling in an appropriate vehicle, especially in the wintertime. For your heath and safety a professional spa technician will perform weekly maintenance on the hot tub. We will make every effort to notify you before technician arrives if possible. Technician will only need access to the hot tub area. Mountain communities value their peace and quiet. Most residences and guests are here to experience the natural beauty and peacefulness our area has to offer. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times. Noise that can be heard beyond the property line is prohibited at all times. We are equipped with a noise monitoring system (minut) and will be notified if noise levels are above normal. Outdoor trash: We do not want to attract wildlife like bears or predators. Please dispose of all trash in bear proof trash can at the street. The property is equipped with a surveillance camera at the front door only for security purposes. There are no interior cameras. A noise monitoring device measures noise decibels only and does not record noises/voices. No ATV/UTVs: The roads are county roads and unlicensed vehicles are illegal. You may not drive your ATVs to the nearby trails, they must be transported there. Occasionally we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks that may be left behind from other guests. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. Early check ins/Late checkouts may be available. Please be advised there is a fee of $50 per hour for both early check ins and late check outs. Requests must be approved and paid in advance and are not always available due to time restraints. Please be advised: Violation of pet or smoking (inside) policy $300 minimum deep cleaning due to significant health risk to owner. Guests that fail to vacate the property at the designated checkout (initial 10 minute grace period) will be subject to a fee of $75 for every half hour increment.
Beautiful place to stay!! Had a nice get away, and the hot tub was a huge plus! There were dirty sheets on the bed with stains on them but other than that it’s a great place highly recommend.
It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Loved driving to the cabin and seeing deer so close to the house. It was perfect.
