We loved our stay in this beautiful and peaceful A-frame in the woods. Our doggo felt welcome, too! We loved the spacious deck and the birds and squirrels and the smell of the trees. It was wonderful to snuggle by the fire. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place is also quite stylish and very tidy. The view from the living room is just spectacular and immediately made me feel calmer. It was awesome to charge the car during our stay, too. A very easy and quick drive into town when we wanted to explore, and lots of beautiful hikes in the area. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely LOVED this home, and everything about it, all the thoughtful details, the style of decor, and most importantly the incredible views! Melanie was the best host, so helpful, responsive and sweet. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay. The floor to ceiling windows are stunning and having a fireplace to warm the house in the chilly nights and mornings made the home so cozy. Perfect for a family get away.

I booked Carpe Diem to celebrate my Husbands 33rd birthday with our friends, and this cabin exceeded our expectations! So spaceous, beautiful design and additional amenities like a grill, hot tub and shuffle board made us enjoy the space even more! Paul & Melanie are fantastic hosts and we’re responsive on communication and allowed us a late check out which was the cherry on top for our wonderful weekend get away. Would absolutely love to come back to this spot!

We had a great stay at Paul and Melanie’s! The A frame structure with massive windows looking out to the mountains was so serene! The living area feels very spacious and the fire offers a very welcoming and cozy vibe. The views from the upstairs loft are fabulous. The hot tub worked really well and was very clean, it was definetly a highlight of the stay. Star gazing from the hot tub at night was a very special moment. Paul and Melanie were very responsive and great communicators. We would come back to this house again.
