I would highly recommend staying here, the lodges have absolutely everything you require. all in excellent condition, peaceful and really relaxing. the host lorna has thought about everything not just inside the lodges, but around the whole site. we brought our 2 year old son with us who loved playing in the woodland trail on the site. our two dogs felt just at home too. at the end of the day after walking in the beautiful countryside there area has to offer,the hottub was just what we needed.

My family and I had a wonderful stay - my daughters loved the play nook under the stairs with the array of nature books and wooden toys. We cooked up an amazing supper with the cast iron cookware over the fire pit using great local produce from the deli in Hay. The hot tub and star gazing was just amazing. All the finishing touches make the stay so special - remote control black out blinds, local artwork, quality crockery and comfy sofas. Had a fabulous time and we’ll be back! Highly recommend for families - or even groups of friends looking for a special stay.

What a hidden gem! We had such an amazing time staying at the lodge, the children loved the swing, woodland walks, and the little play area tucked under the stairs. We really enjoyed some birdwatching, and of course the hot tub. The welcome gift of chocolate and marshmallows was such a wonderful personal touch! Our cockapoo wasn’t left out, he also loved his welcome treats, and exploring the meadow and woodland. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, it has been so well thought out. The comfort of the bed and linen is exceptional, I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well! It’s such a beautiful location and the use of the natural hedges for privacy is very clever. It was just great sitting around the firepit stargazing, we didn’t want to leave!
