This beautiful cottage is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the biggest attraction on the OBX, The Wright Memorial. Walking or biking to the beach is 6 minutes at best, and is made safe with a signal light with the Dairy Queen right across the street for a quick treat on the way back to the cottage! If you prefer to drive, the lifesaving station is at the end of E. Wright Ave. This is a 1,880 sqft (+/- ) home that offers plenty of privacy while still having the luxury of being just a short distance to both the ocean, sound and the wright brothers memorial. The deck offers seating for 4 and the patio has a wonderful picnic table to enjoy an evening sunset or a cup of coffee for those early morning risers. The yard is fully fenced for you to enjoy along with an exquisite hot tub. The home offers three king beds, one queen, and two twin beds which all have night stands, dressers, and closets! All plush bedding is provided for a relaxing nights sleep. Upon entering the downstairs unit, there is a washer/dryer for your use. The downstairs also offers 1 bedroom with a King Bed and jack-and-jill tub/shower combo shared with the adjacent twin bedroom. The upstairs is an open concept floor plan with a living room offering a large L shaped couch with an amazing 65" TV with access to Netflix, Fire TV, and Roku TV. The kitchen offers beautiful custom wood cabinets, coffee station, full fridge, stove, microwave, and is fully stocked with all cookware and utensils that you need to prepare your meals while enjoying your stay. Your personal Keurig coffee station provides your first day of coffee so you can wake up feeling refreshed :) The remaining three bedrooms are located upstairs. The large master bedroom has an amazing king bed and private bath with walk in shower. The hall bathroom offers a bath/shower combo to accommodate any family needs along with blow dryers and all bathroom linen provided. The second upstairs bedroom offers a king bed while the third offers a queen bed. You will have your own heating and A/C system to control for your comfort and we provide an iron and ironing board to keep all of your clothing looking freshly pressed. We are less than 1/2 mile walk to the back entrance of the Wright Brothers Memorial. We offer all kinds of DISCOUNTS that are AUTOMATICALLY applied to your reservation when booking. How Far Is The Beach? The Atlantic Ocean public beach access is 1/4 mile walk from the house so it is definitely within walking distance. You can also drive as we are located on the Roanoke Sound Side of the main road. We are lucky to be located at a lighted cross walk to the beach path. Where Are You Located? Our home is located in Kill Devil Hills near mile post 10. Is There A Grill? Unfortunately No. The Outer Banks can often times be windy and each year many people on the beach lose their homes due to grill related house fires. For this reason and safety reasons we do not have a grill at our home :( What Complimentary Items Are Included? - 1 roll of paper towels - 1 roll of toilet paper per bath - 1 bag per trash can - Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil - 10 K Cups - Some cream and sugar - Shampoo - Conditioner - Body Wash - Hand Soap - Dish Soap and Sponge - Handful of laundry pods - Blow Dryer - Ironing Board and Iron Anything else you may need outside of the complimentary items provided will need to be brought by the guest. The Hot Tub is open year round. There is a $35.00 fee included in the cleaning rate to support the cleaning of the hot tub between every reservation. It will be automatically applied to your booking to ensure extreme cleanliness during COVID-19. Only guests staying at the property are welcome to use it. Do You Offer Early Check In Or Late Check Out? Unfortunately, no. Check In is any time after 4:00 PM. Our cleaners do not provide us with a scheduled time that they clean our house and in exchange, provide a lower cleaning rate. Because of this we are unable to guarantee any early check ins, however, our cleaners always do their best to get finished early and we will message you the check in information if requested as soon as the apartment is available :) Check Out is at 10:00 AM. Due to the same reason, we are unable to accommodate any late check outs. In addition our cleaners do charge infraction fees if they need to wait on guests to leave past 10:00 AM. Do you offer cable TV? No, we offer an Amazon Fire Stick with complimentary access to Netflix, Fire TV, and Roku TV on the living room TV only. Additionally, there are many applications on the fire stick allowing you to sign into your own accounts. How Old Do I Have To Be To Rent This Property? 25+ is welcome to book. No guests under the age of 25 is allowed without a parental guardian. Please note that this is not a property that allows parties or extra guests that are not on the reservation and make sure to read through all house rules before booking.
