Samira is a great host, with immediate answers and the willingness to help when there is a problem. However we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. As the host explained to us the house has been rented for a long time from a person I don’t know if it is his fault or the hosts but the house wasn’t cleaned properly. Once we got inside the house we saw a bigger space than the photos are describing, very well decorated. However when we went to the bedroom the bed had no sheets and later we discovered that the sheets didn’t look nor smell right. Also the washer was very old (maybe the reason that the sheets looked like that) so we wash them by hand. The host offered to pay for the discomfort which I really appreciated. However the sheets were not the only problem at the apartment, as the carpets and especially the one in the bedroom have turned into black from the dirt and most of the sheets had cigarette holes on them. The sofa has been covered with some blankets to hide the dirt underneath. In general the neighbourhood is very easy as the RER is a 10 minute walk however at nights there were times that we didn’t feel safe. As we travel for work twice per year in Parsi we would love to stay once again in Samira’s place because she’s very nice and the apartment was comfortable for us but the cleaniness issue is a factor that I have to consider very much in order to rebook again.
