Wat een bijzondere ervaring! Myxo, Bobo en de andere medewerkers vertellen heel wat over de cultuur van Eswatini. In een korte tijd kregen we heel veel info en ervaringen. We bezochten samen de nabijgelegen school en enkele andere bewoners van het dorp nadat we enkele zinnen hadden geleerd. Voor jong en oud een interessante belevenis bij mensen met een warm hart.

Nous n’avons pas rencontré Myxo mais son frère Bobo. Il nous a appris des éléments de langage Swazi, la culture locale, leur mode de vie ainsi que le partage de leur repas. Un plus d’y aller en semaine permet de rencontrer des écoliers et de visiter l’école. Le week-end end, il est possible d’assister à un mariage ou une cérémonie à l’église. Nous sommes heureux d’avoir partagé cette expérience avec nos enfants. Un grand merci à Bobo, c’est une grande expérience, à réaliser absolument !

We only spent one night with Bobo, Myxo and the other friendly people. In retrospect, we would have liked to stay longer. We arrived after an adventurous journey and were immediately greeted with a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we were introduced to the culture of the Swazi people. Myxo gave us interesting views of their life and environment. As we arrived on a Friday at noon, the school was already closed and we could not visit it the next day. However, this is possible during the week. After a short language course by Myxo, we mingled with the people and then enjoyed the beautiful sunset. For dinner we had a delicious local dish. After dinner, we ended the evening with the locals around the campfire. The night was a special and great experience. We were provided with fresh bed sheets and comfortable mattresses. The huts were warm and clean. The next day we had a delicious breakfast on the self-built terrace with a breathtaking view. Afterwards Bobo introduced us to the neighbours and showed us a beautiful viewpoint. We felt very safe, welcome and comfortable during the whole stay. Would come again if the opportunity arose. We really love this place, it is so quiet and beautiful! If you need to have a rest and be a break from your usual routine it is the best place to stay! We learned a lot about local culture, met local people, taste local food, and our host was so nice and thoughtful !
