Chris and Claire's cottage is absolutely stunning and have all of the amenities/equipment you could need for a fantastic local getaway near the GTA. Chris and Claire were super responsive, helpful, and flexible with our asks. They are amazing hosts and even set us up with a little welcome gift when we arrived! We went with a group of 10 friends, and there was plenty of rooms, beddings, and group hang out places in the house and on the property. We would absolutely recommend this place to our friends and will likely be back some other time.

Our family loved our time at Christopher's. It was spacious and especially child friendly. We really like that part of the province for its lakes and forests. It is very convenient to Sir Sam's ski hill as well which we took advantage of.

One of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Everything you need. Lots of space for kids to play both inside and out. Completely beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfect!

Christopher and Claire responded quickly to any of our questions before we even arrived!! Thanks for that as my husband wanted my 60th birthday celebration to be perfect. We were celebrating with 2 of my adult sons and their spouses (3 couples) and everyone enjoyed the privacy of our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The place was exactly as described. If you are looking for a quiet getaway - where you forget what day it is - then this is the place. Everything about this place is comfortable - beds, furniture, kitchen, TV, kayaks, canoes, campfire, hot tub, even swimming in the lake (in October!!). The view from the upper deck was the perfect spot to enjoy before dinner drinks and snacks every night. We even had an early morning visit from 2 deer on the property between the house and the lake. If you feel the need to exercise you can walk the road that takes you half of the way around the lake and at this time of the year the colors of the trees is breathtaking. Highly recommend!

We stayed 3 nights at Christopher's cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Upon first walking in we were pleasantly greeted with such nice taste in furniture and fun vibe. We were surprised to see how much stuff was already there for us which is so convenient. They made sure not to miss a beat, simple things like soap, salt and paper towel, fully stocked. We used the canoe, and the floating mat which were both a hit with our group. Days when the wind wasn't too strong the water was very calm, and the views are incredible from the dock. We were a group of 6 adults and young children and everyone had their own space, the basement was crafted well, and kids enjoyed all the toys and activities. The hot tub was also a nice bonus and was fun to use. Wifi was strong, and the supplied water was plenty. Really hard to find a negative about the cottage!! We hope to be back again next summer! Thank you for having us and thanks for being so accommodating.
