Carlton was incredibly nice and always responsive - just what was needed. Whenever I had questions, even well before my stay like when I needed information about the place for my ESTA application, he was always on hand. The place had everything I needed and provided great value as a base from which to travel to the city regularly being quite close to the Nostrand Avenue subway stop. It was equipped with all the amenities I needed and I would definitely stay here again coming to NYC.

An sich erfüllt es seinen Zweck, jedoch ließ sich das Zimmer nicht herrunterkühlen (im November!) sondern heizte sich stets wieder zu unangenehmen Temperaturen auf. Die Klimaanlage half nicht und das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen. Wo diese Wärme herkam, habe ich trotz mehrfacher Inspektionen nicht herausgefunden. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher hatten teilweise Flecken. Die Süßigkeiten, die ich aus Deutschland mitgebracht habe, waren angefressen, was für mich die Höhe war. Ich vermute eine Maus, was wiederum gegen den Zustand des Zimmers spricht. Carlton selbst war freundlich. Unterkunft empfehlenswert für sparsame Leute mit geringen Hygiene- und Schlafansprüchen, für mich leider eher enttäuschend.

A nice little place to stay! Walkable to the train that takes you right into Manhattan. Would definitely stay again.
