Tây Hồ · 整套酒店式公寓 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住5人 · Suite in Charming and Poetic Villa - Ho Tay
Step into the heart of Hanoian tradition and culture in our cozy Villa de Charme Poetique. The suite sleep up to 5 people with 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, full kitchen, living room, balcony, natural light, and a shared laundry area. Crib, baby chair, extra mattress upon request. Convenient 15mins to the Airport and Old Town, a cultured and hip vibe kind of area. Complimentary airport pick up for 3+ nights! Read my reviews and ask me questions. No parties or unregistered visitors, please. The Suite is on the 2nd floor, my parents and I occupy the 4th floor. We have motorbike parking on the ground floor and a shared laundry area on the 5th. If you need car parking, it's literally right across the street from our home. Our family and I love travel and we wanted to host since we came to other foreign countries and started using Airbnb. We had amazing experiences where strangers open their homes to welcome us and together we shared the joy of living in each other's countries. In 2022, we decided to innovate the house to welcome guests. We can share everything we know about Hanoi (been here for 6 generations) or we can stay completely out of your way. Only booking multiple-day stays because I want to keep the visits unique and not just a revolving door of people. Your group can use anything we have within the house. I aim to be a completely transparent host to avoid any surprises. So please ask anything you want to know. Tell me what’s important to you and I’ll tell you if I can accommodate it. I want to build a good reputation here so I will do all I can to earn your positive word. Conversely, I want trustworthy, respectful guests so we’re only accepting Government ID verified AirBnB. If this is your first time booking with Airbnb, please message me and ask questions so that we can be on the same page regarding the expectation. You'll have the complete privacy that you need for your stay but also we're in the same building. Just remember I’m not running a business. We're a family who love to share my beloved Hanoi with people from other places and cultures. Our home sits in a quiet alley in West of West Lake. We are literally next to Lotte Shopping Mall, Trinh Cong Son walking street, and a short walk to Lotus Ponds and West Lake itself. The area has a hip and cultured vibe, you can find many options for dining, cafes, and activities, shopping..., and still have a quiet and cozy place to come back to without worrying too much about logistics. The place is convenient to walk to many places around West Lake and definitely not having the stress of a touristy area. It takes 15 mins to the Airport and 15 mins to Old Town by Grabcar/ Taxi. You can rent a motorbike or bicycle or borrow ours (bicycles) if you wish to use them. I have a guidebook for places in the neighborhood and my parents and I would be happy to show you around. If you're traveling with family or business, you will appreciate the spaciousness of our suite, and the convenience of the neighborhood.
Thu and Yen’s place was great, lovely to be staying in a special home. Huge bedrooms and living space, it was clean and had everything we needed. Location is fantastic if you don’t need/want to be in the old quarter. Walkable to Westlake and Lotte Mall and a heap of restaurants and cafes. Easy to get a grab car from end of the alley to go anywhere and quiet at night
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very spacious, yet cosy. The beds were especially comfortable. Communication was easy and responses super quick. We had a friendly welcome by Thu’s dad and he also took the time to say goodbye in person. The airport pickup made our arrival particularly convenient. For us, the location was perfect. Though it is not located in the city center, the surroundings offer nice cafes and getting around and to old quarter was easy as well. Thank you very much!
This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 (3 little kids) for out last leg of our 3 month trip in Asia. Admittedly we spent every single day of our 5 day stay at the mall a 3 minute walk from the apartment. There's also so many cute coffee shops right outside your door. The best part - there's a DRYER! First place we have found a dryer in Asia. Highly recommend this place!
We are located in the North-east of West Lake (Ho Tay) area of Hanoi on the road that connects to CDB and to the Airport. Our area Nhat Tan is known for cherry blossom and plant decoration, especially during Lunar New Year Holiday.
The place is 2 min walk to the new Lotte Center in Lac Long Quan and 5 min walk to West Lake itself.
We are in the Nhat Tan ward neighborhood, a rich cultural neighborhood that is famous for its nature scene. To help you navigate how to find things in the surrounding area, here are a few tips:
- Trinh Cong Son street is right across our alley, the area turns into a walking street on weekends with many eateries or cultural activities will be organized. You can find many restaurants, cafes, and bars there.
West Lake is 5 mins walk from our house, passing Trinh Cong Son street and you’ll see it. On Nhat Chieu street, there are many cafes and restaurants for casual dining with a lake view.
- Supermarket: 5 mins walk from our house - Vinmart. Otherwise, you can go to Annam Gourmet, a Western-style supermarket.
- The Expatriate area of West Lake (Quang An) is 10 minute walking from our house. There you can find all kinds of cafes, bars, restaurants, high ends, fusion, and authentic Vietnamese. The area is very interesting with shops, art exhibitions, and cafes that are great for remote working.
- Old Town & French Quarter: 15-20 mins by bike, or car. Parking is usually limited in the area, so you might want to take a taxi and spend a day trip there in the Old Town and French Quarter together. I have some recommendations at the end of this manual for places for you to enjoy Hanoi’s charm.
- The international airport is only 15 mins away from our place, you can easily call a car-hailing service. We can also pre-book our trusted driver for you in advance as the car is generally larger.
