Kristine's place easily tops the list of Airbnbs that we have stayed in. Where do I start? The location is fantastic. It is private but close enough to everything. The backyard connects seamlessly with the golf course, which makes sitting outside so much more enjoyable. The thoughtful touches in the backyard were amazing. The insides were thoughtfully configured and decorated and were squeaky clean. A well-equipped kitchen and fridge meant we did not have to worry about breakfast and the odd snack. The location is near enough to the city center, so we could drive there in less than 3 minutes. The check-in, check-out was super easy as well.

It is a beautiful house on the edge of a legendary golf course, the backyard has a wonderful view of the golf course, our boys had great fun playing soccer behind. The extra touches like fruits, milk, eggs, bread, juice and cereals kept for us was a really neat welcome as we had a short stay. The coffee maker and egg boiler made my day as I am quite the kitchen hand in the family. The furniture, bathrooms, linen, towels; everything was impeccable. The house has a large screen and netflix which comes in handy with two boys and finally the experience of the neighbourhood was great. The marina had an easter fair which was great. The horse ranches, wild kangaroo spotting all if it was a good choice for a 2 night stay. Thanks Kris. See you soon again.

We cannot thank Christine enough for sharing her amazing home with us. The excellent communication prior to our arrival was prompt and informative. The welcome when we came through the door was beyond our wildest expectations. So much food for breakfasts and more besides left out on the side, and in the well-stocked fridge with other goodies, was exceedingly generous. The kitchen was a delight to work in with so much equipment, we did not go out to eat whilst we were staying as the home was so comfortable and eating out on the terrace with all the bird life was very relaxing. As other reviewers have mentioned the house was pristine, comfortable with everything you would have stocked in your own home, in the bathrooms and kitchen. We cannot thank you enough and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable relaxing stay in Nelson Bay.

The house is lovely, comfortable and well laid out. The hostess very thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator and pantry with drinks, fruit, cereals and snacks. The house was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better - right on the edge of a golf course that was visited by kangaroos at night - a real treat for us! Highly recommend!

Just back after spending a long weekend in Kris’ place. All four of us commented on how clean and homely the property was! Kris was so responsive and helpful. There was great attention to detail and the property had everything we needed and was absolutely perfect for a weekend in Nelson’s bay. Will definitely return if we are back up that way!
