The property we stayed at was simply breathtaking. Situated in an incredibly serene location, the continuous sound of the burbling creek provided a soothing ambiance. Our sons had a blast playing in the creek, catching a handful of small creatures. Additionally, we love to fly fishing. Sherry and Josh were kind enough to share the best fishing spots along Buck Creek with us. Despite the heavy rainfall, we succeeded in catching a few local trout. All the places we wished to explore were conveniently located within a 20-30 minute drive. Our evenings were filled with relaxation, delicious dinner, and live music. It was a pleasure to come back to the cabin for a cozy campfire, while our boys played in the creek. The cabin was exceptional. Its layout was ideal for our family of four, with the kids sleeping upstairs and us parents on the main floor. This arrangement allowed us some peaceful evenings to unwind. Lastly, the availability of the laundry was essential & much appreciated.

Beautiful location. Nice to have two king beds. Amazing porches and access to the creek. Felt very relaxing and our kids loved it.

We had a wonderful girls trip at the cabin. It is a lovely spot next to the water and was perfect for the four of us. The cabin is conveniently located near downtown Highlands. We loved the Highlands Excursion tour we took and highly recommend the Panthertown Valley Hike (about six miles with waterfalls and Mountain View’s).

A great spot for peace and quiet. The cabin is beautiful and we got to sleep while hearing the creek bubbling down the mountain. The visitor center in Highlands was very helpful. We went there for information and to get the inside scoop on what was hip and happening. We did hiking with the llamas which was LIFE CHANGING. I highly recommend this spot.

This was the coziest cabin and had a beautiful location. Wonderful hosts as well. It was beautifully decorated and there was a Christmas tree which made it festive! The river, porch and the river sounds were my favorite part. The kitchen was well equipped and nice to cook in. The driveway was a little steep for our car, and required us to put in a lower gear. It is fairly convenient to the highland town area. We would definitely return.
