Five stars across-the-board. We enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. We watched the weather come and go, and the whales and the bald eagles from the deck. The house is lovely and thoughtfully decorated. The communication with Clayton was great. The kitchen is fantastic, stocked with anything that people who like to cook would want to have there. There are neighbors in this little road, but from the house or deck they cannot even be seen or noticed. We would definitely go back. Thank you Clayton!

Amazing place to go and decompress and connect with nature. We went as a family of 4 with a 7 year old boy and 7 month old boy and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The area is absolutely incredible you can pull over off the road almost anywhere and find a hiking trail or incredible scenery. Local accomodations have everything you need within a 20 minute drive.

Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! They are not kidding about the prolific wildlife. We saw whales (some came within probably 100 yards from the shore!), sea lions, harbor seals, countless Eagles, Stellar Jays, and even an elusive porpoise! The attention to detail in the house was terrific, from the shampoo and conditioner provided to the wool dryer balls available for use. Everything was of high quality, nothing felt cheap or thoughtless. The beds, pillows and linen were very clean and super comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was gorgeous and the shower has incredible water pressure. The kitchen was full of everything you need — which is fantastic because, in my opinion, why go out when the best view in Juneau is at this house! I work remotely and the WiFi worked perfectly. There was even a stand up desk, and it had an amazing view of the channel. Clayton was an excellent host, very communicative and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!

Tongass Treehouse was incredible - one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The home is just remodeled and goregous with all brand new interior, kitchen and bathrooms. The deck is incredible - I watched bald eagles, whales right from the balcony over coffee in the AM. At night the cruise ships glow as they slip through the night which you can see right as you are falling asleep from the bed. The location is away from the bustle of downtown, up on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. Clayton himself was a great host, answered all my questions, provided us tons of detail on his home and how to use it, and was super friendly and interesting when we briefly met him. We spent our days hiking, fly fishing,visiting nice restaurants and doing a fishing charter. This is a beautiful luxury home tucked away from it all in a pristine setting.

My wife and I stayed in the Treehouse for a month this summer. Clay was very responsive, helpful and had great tips! We travel a lot and agree this was the most well appointed and thought out airbnb we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had Everything you need, sharp knives, great pots/ pans, and spices. The bedrooms have black out blinds and the beds are very comfortable. Obviously the view from the deck looks great in photographs but it is even better in person! We saw whales and seals from the deck (take binoculars!). Eagles have a nest nearby and routinely fly by and perch near the deck. We were very happy with the location. We preferred the shopping and restaurants in Mendenhall Valley to those in Juneau which gets a lot of pressure from cruise ship folk. Favorites: *Flyfishing Echo Cove, Thane *Watch bears fish for salmon nearby *Mt Roberts hike on a clear day *Jayleens for whale watching *restaurants - Zereldas, Sandbar, Forbidden Peak Brewery, Wed pizza at Devil’s Club
