The photos absolutely don't do it justice, they feel like the sketches before a detailed oil painting! As soon as I entered I felt like I was home, everything felt so perfectly peaceful here; making dinner in the open concept kitchen, sitting curled up by the fire, or lounging on the love seat looking out at at the woods. Everything was very clean and well kept, the soles of my slippers I wore inside during the week were still spotless by the end! What felt even more impressive was we didn't even see a single spider, considering we were deep in the woods. Driving in town only took about 15-20 minutes, and they have a lot of what you might be looking for; Goodwill, grocery store, drug store, record/antique store, dollar store, pizza, gas station, +more. One thing I wanted to mention that isn't a problem, just an observation so others can be informed: the mattress are quite firm, so if your bad back requires that you're in luck! My partner woke up feeling very refreshed due to this.

My boyfriend and our dog had a great stay at Tim’s place. I loved the layout and rustic feel of the cabin, and fireplace. Very quiet road and beautiful surroundings. Only downside for me was that there is another house on the property that you can see from the kitchen of the cabin. Cabin is only 15 mins from town. Thank you Tim!

Read entire review for a representative review of this Rustic stay. Lots of mice, preventing sleep, eating my mouse pad. Outside door to basement WITHOUT lock, with ladder up to trap door in kitchen, no lock. Anyone can get it. Back door very very poor locks, any one can get in those doors as well. Yellow water, with sediments. Dirty rugs, don’t want to walk barefoot. Heating did not work well in living room. No instructions sheets on location. Tim relies on Airbnb site to provide all information, including internet network and password. He was extremely difficult to reach when needed. Not organized not a good communicator. No trails on the private 50 acres. Very spars supplies, i.e. utensils, extremely poor quality knifes.
