This interaction was a bit strange. I made the reservation 4pm the day before we were set to leave. Shortly after making the reservation our 8-month old got sick. I ended up in the ER with her all night and in the morning she still wasn’t too great. Christine reached out with check in instructions and I updated her on the baby’s status and mentioned I’m wasn’t sure if we will be able to come. I was then instructed to cancel my reservation. Christine said she would work with the owners to get a refund and we were refunded a night's stay, which I am grateful for. It just seemed a bit weird to instruct me to cancel my reservation. I assume it was so they could make the place available to be rented again, while profiting from my reservation. That’s a bit disheartening, but business is business and it’s strictly financial.

Loved the place and the house. Everything was perfect and Christine was very responsive and friendly!! Totally recommend.
