Impressive Place!! I have stayed at "Hope Cottage" three times this winter and it has been the most perfect place to hang our hats after an adventurous day of ice fishing! The driveway runs alongside the deck/porch; therefore, it is very convenient to load and unload our gear. There is access to the lake within 1.5 miles, so our group has been able to load up our Polaris Ranger in the morning and take off from the cabin to spend the day ice fishing. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the evenings and the center islands in the kitchen is the perfect place to gather around and tell tall tales of the ones that got away!! Donna is so great when it comes to communication, friendliness and helpful if you need anything. The photos and description match perfectly, and I feel that no matter the reason for traveling to this area you would enjoy Hope Cottage - It is a great find!! Things I like the most: Location, Lake Access, Large Kitchen, Center Island, Great Bathroom & Clean.

Very nice place for ice fisherman. Could back our 18 ft enclosed trailer in from main road right into drive way. Lake access was less than 1/2 mile away.

This is my third time staying st Donna’s place and it was like returning home!! I really enjoy spending time ice fishing on Lake Winnipeg, but I am very fussy about where I stay!! During this trip I brought my Dad who is 79 and he also really enjoyed everything about this cabin!!! It is very roomy, clean and a great place to relax!!! I personally love the island in the kitchen!! It is a great place no matter what time of year!! Donna is also very quick to respond to you and very helpful!! It’s always been a great experience!!! It’s a great place!!

Donna's rustic all season 2 Bedroom Cabin is/was everything that I expected!!! This was actually the second time that I/we have booked with Donna and I'll be booking this cabin again. She is so awesome to communicate with and checks in while you are staying there to be sure everything is going great!! I booked during January for an ice fishing trip on Lake Winnipeg and the location of this cabin is so awesome for access whether you want to make the short drive to Pruden's Creek or any of the access points on the east side of the lake. There is a long driveway which is very nice and you can park right next to the porch which makes loading and unloading so nice and easy. The kitchen is awesome with an island which makes for a great place to stand and swap stories after a day on the ice!! The cabin was very clean, organized and the snow was plowed from the driveway making access in and out easy... I cannot wait to return for another ice fishing adventure... A great cabin!!!
