Mattias is a very professional and friendly host who gave us good recommendations. We came early, but Mattias was available and the appartment was perfectly prepared. Sea view from living room and balcony; large and well equipped kitchen, excellent price. Superb seaside location, decent restaurants around, various lovely beaches and hiking routes nearby.

The view is stunning and you can hear the waves on the shore. The Balcony is fabulous. The Apartment is very well equipped, especially the kitchen if you like to cook, it has so much equipment. The double bed was very comfortable. Mattias is very helpful, friendly and very responsive. The roof terrace was excellent for yoga practice and star gazing. As stated on Airbnb, a little noisy when the ferry is coming in and out, but not a problem as it is not for long. Being March it was a little chilly and one needed blankets in the evening to keep warm, but again not a problem for me. Marmari is very quiet at this time of year except on the Greek bank holidays when it gets a bit lively. I loved the 5 weeks staying in Mattias's place.

We loved staying at Mattias' place in Marmari. The location was great. We had a balcony that overlooked the sea, and we got to experience some spectacular moments. Everything we needed was a short walk away. Marmari was a charming village to stay in and was lively for a small village in winter. Mattias is one of the best hosts you will have using AirBNB. He was always kind and responsive and felt like an old friend. He was also helpful in making recommendations. The kitchen was well stocked, and we didn't lack any amenities while we were there. We also had a solid internet connection and never had any trouble with it. (We stayed through January and most of February) We already plan on visiting again. Thanks again!

Out of 100+ Airbnb stays in my life, this was the best. Mattias is absolutely wonderful, and was so helpful to me recommending hikes & places to visit near Marmari. The apartment is spacious, clean, and the views were fantastic even in late December. I brought a car with me which I would recommend so that you can easily drive to Karystos for a bigger supermarket and a few more shops. Even without a car, you will have all you need. You will not regret staying here and you will want to come back for sure!
