Located on a property that overlooks vineyards and beautiful grounds with chickens and a garden. We woke up to the most amazing sunrises over the vineyard and then spent the day walking to local vineyards for wine tastings. This is a very central location for wine tasting and a short drive to local restaurants. The hosts were very nice and helped us learn about the area and plan what we should do. Their dog Aspen was also very friendly! There was a little kitchen that made it easy to cook breakfast and the accommodations were good. Overall, this is a great location and I would definitely recommend it!
Absolutely loved staying here. The place was so beautiful. The views of the vineyards were incredible. It was very peaceful. Andrew was so friendly. We loved and greatly appreciated the eggs from the chickens. Overall a great experience and would absolutely stay again
Andrew’s place was spotless, had beautiful gardens surrounding the property, and was situated a ways from the main house to provide privacy. Courteous and friendly host. Ideally located to walk or bike to many vineyards, and we played bocce ball one night in the large yard. Would definitely stay there again!
what an amazing stay! stunning property perfect for the four of us - loved the chickens and dog! so close to all the vineyards too - we will be back!

Andrew and Wendy arrived in Marlborough, NZ, with their children, in mid-2015, after previously living in South Australia’s Barossa Valley and Seattle, USA. As a native New Zealander, who has spent most of his adult life abroad, the move to Marlborough marked something of a homecoming for Andrew; while for Wendy, an Australian, it represented a migration to a place for which she has held great fondness, since first visiting NZ as a teenager hitch-hiking her way around the South Island. In the short time they have been living in Marlborough, both have grown to love the lifestyle of the region: the pace of life; the people; and access to some of the country’s most appealing attractions. Wendy is highly regarded as a winemaker and occupies the position of Chief Winemaker with Constellation NZ, while Andrew has a background in residential architecture and enjoys cogitating on projects that may or may not ever see the light of day! They have travelled extensively over the years, first meeting in the mid-80’s (through a shared passion for skiing), in the Swiss village of Grindelwald. Their love of travel and interest in meeting people from different cultures, provides a background well-suited to warmly welcoming guests to the region they now call home.
