Really cute place! Quite rustic/simple but that’s part of the charm. There are bikes for hire (believe it may be included in the booking price going forward? Check with host) and we had a great time cycling around the area - check out Mt Myogi shrine! Naoko and Tim are lovely hosts and so helpful - gave us a lift back to the station with our bags when we checked out. 10/10, loved my time in Annaka :)

An affordable rest stop at a good location. Friendly hosts with cute cats and an adorable dog. Enjoyed a good chat and got plenty of recommendations for local attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a sociable stay.

Despite a late arrival due to unexpected traffic, the hosts were incredibly accommodating. They not only stayed up to ensure I was settled in comfortably, but they also made the extra effort to help with bike rentals at 11pm. The hosts' attention to detail and thoughtfulness made my late check-in seamless and stress-free. The bikes, which were a key part of the travel plans, were in perfect shape and ready to go despite the late hour. Their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay really set the tone for my entire visit. The property itself is a beautifully maintained traditional Japanese home, and ideally located. In conclusion, this Airbnb is more than just a place to stay, I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone planning a trip to Japan or Gunma. Looking forward to my next visit!

Naoko and Tim were very lovely and helpful. They both speak English and were able to give me plenty of recommendations and things to visit. There is lots to do within an hour of walking or less by using one of their bikes. For a small price, you can also enjoy a traditional Japanese breakfast and lunch there. I will definitely come back to visit the rest one day.

Hosts, Tim and Naoko, are very kind from the first contact till the end. If you want experience of staying at vintage Japanese house and enjoying in nature, this is a perfect place! Animals were friendly and cute too.😁 群馬県や軽井沢方面に向かう日本人の方にもおすすめですよ。英語、日本語どちらも対応されてます！
