Excellent home for a stay for a large group.
Four moms and four 10 year old boys spent a frigid, but memorable weekend at Heather's house. Everything was as described and the combination of queen bedrooms and a bunk room was perfect for our group. The boys enjoyed playing in the front and back woods, hot tub, arcade game, foosball, fireplace, and more. The moms loved sitting in cozy chairs and sofa by the fireplace. Heather was responsive, helpful, and when the fireplace went out, someone came within the hour. It was the perfect home for a weekend in the mountains. Close to town, but felt a million miles away! I cannot recommend highly enough if you are looking for a beautiful home in Blue Ridge.
This cabin was beautiful! It was spotless! Stocked with everything you would need. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of games and activities available. The children’s room was a hit with my grandchildren. They loved the bunks! Heather was quick to respond to any need and very helpful! I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful relaxing trip!
It was a beautiful house! The fireplaces were the cherry on top. The only thing that would make it a 11/10 would be a table for all nine of us to seat at. The largest table seats six. My suggestion would be to have the kitchen cafe table be switched out for a table with extended leaves to accommodate family dinner. It was a great week!
We booked heathers cabin for my fiancés birthday and had the most wonderful time! Heather was super responsive and available for any of my enquirers. There was actually an incident with the men cooking the ladies breakfast where the fire alarm went off (they weren’t using the oven vent) and Heather was immediately available to help us turn the alarm off! She provided many suggestions for trips into town as well as vineyards as well. The house itself was very modern, cozy, fully stocked, and ample space for our group. We were able to use the grill and kitchen for cooking with everything available! Everyone really enjoyed the Mrs. Pac-Man and all the games downstairs. The boys went golfing nearby and really enjoyed the golf coarse, some of us stayed back to work remote and the internet was great! There’s also a River behind the cabin that the boys enjoyed exploring. Overall amazing stay and great host! Would definitely book again
