Cozy family house at the westrnmost end of Dražgoše village, attached to the sunny hillside of mighty Jelovica plateau, offers either a great opportunity for peaceful immersion into the beautiful forested nature, sporty holiday with multiple activity choices or a perfect starting point to visit some of the most famous natural and cultural attractions of Slovenia. The house was once home to a family with seven children and still retains the character of a friendly, cozy and safe family nest. It has everything a small or large family or traveling company needs for a short break or a longer and unforgettable vacation. The heart of the house is the living room with an attached kitchen and dining area. Nice natural light during the day and warm embrace of a wooden ambience in the evening calls out for pleasant family gatherings. From the living room you enter the spacious and airy conservatory surrounded by lush greenery, designed for a relaxed summer retreat with a book or a board game. On the same floor there is a conveniently located bathroom with a bathtub, washer and dryer, and a separate toilet room. All three bedrooms are located on the upper floor and offer enough comfortable space; a family bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a student's room with a bunk bed and a children's room with a small sized bunk bed.

Nous remercions chaleureusement Mohor pour son acceuil personnalisé et particulièrement agréable. La maison est très belle, fidèle à la description. La veranda est un vrai plus, par tout temps. Mohor a tenu à nous prodiguer des conseils et recommandations pour nos visites. Merci encore pour cette maison familiale, très bien équipée avec une très belle vue sur la vallée.
We had a good time in the house. Hohor was very friendly and helpfull. The restaurant in the village was very good with nice owner.
Magnifique séjour dans la maison familiale très fonctionnelle pour les petits comme pour les grands. La vue depuis la salle à manger est terrible et évolue en fonction du soleil. Mohor nous a aussi très bien conseillé sur toutes les activités à faire dans sa région. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.
The host Mohor is very friendly and helpful. The house is spacious and well equipped, as well in the kitchen as in the bathroom. Due to the high outside temperatures (more than 30 degrees), it was hard to keep it cool in the house.

Mohor n'était pas là pour nous accueillir mais les instructions étaient claires, et tout a été fait pour nous nous sentions à l'aise dès notre arrivée. le logement est spacieux et offre une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. il est parfaitement équipé. cela nous a donné envie de revenir passer de plus longues vacances en Slovénie.

The house is located on the westernmost end of Dražgoše village. The road continues into the vast forests of Jelovica plateau, which gives the impression of the edge of civilization. But don't worry; all the services of civilizational gains, such as a market, pharmacy, post office or bank, can be reached within a 10-minute drive into the valley - in the town of Železniki. Just a 5-minute walk from the house is the excellently rated guest house Brunarica Dražgoše with a great range of food and drinks and a museum on the upper floor.
Good hiking shoes and a pair of hiking poles is our best recommendation to explore the nearby surroundings and mountains. For the recreational aspect of mobility, a mountain bike or a paraglider is also a very suitable choice.
The village of Dražgoše is connected to the world by regular bus lines. From the bus stop in Železniki you can take a bus on relaxed trip to nearby towns of Škofja Loka, Kranj or Ljubljana. In summertime there is also a direct connection to the Triglav National Park.
