Escape to our beautiful seaside town house, located in central Cleethorpes, within a stones throw of the beach. The house has lots of room for you and your guests to relax and unwind. The house has been renovated to a high standard, with all home comforts in mind. To the rear of the property there is private parking for 1 vehicle. Driftwood House is less than a 2 minute walk from the seafront, beach, promenade and town centre. We can accommodate up to 2 well behaved dogs. Our luxury seaside town house is perfectly located for you and your guests to relax and unwind in our beautiful Lincolnshire coastal resort. You will have complete access to 100% of the property. We do accept up to 2 well behaved dogs for an extra fee, but we kindly ask you keep your furry friend on the groundfloor of the property. All linen and towels are provided, along with the basic condiments such as tea, coffee, sugar etc. There will be a welcome pack & welcome book with all the information you require during your stay. On arrival to the house there is a key safe for self check in. When you enter the property you will be greeted by an entrance hallway for you to hang your coats so you can relax and start your holiday immediately. The large sitting room has sumptuous leather sofas for you to sink into and snuggle up with a good book, along with a 55” smart HD TV which is equipped with Sky TV & Netflix. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property. There is also a remote controlled gas fired Log burner to warm yourself after a long walk on the beach. The cosy snug lounge is perfect to relax and watch a movie on the 65” Smart TV equipped with Sky TV and Netflix. There is also games and books for you to use. The open plan kitchen/dining area has a large dining table for the whole family to gather around, along with a fully equipped kitchen including a range cooker, nespresso coffee machine, American fridge freezer, dishwasher & washer /dryer. There is also a newly fitted cloakroom WC with slim washbasin. Step outside to the rear of the property and make the most of the private pergola with seating & BBQ for you and your guests to enjoy the late summer evenings. There is a private parking space through gated access as parking in peak season can be difficult in the resort. On the second floor, there is a spacious master suite with Kingsize bed. There is ample storage along with a hidden 55” TV equipped with Sky TV & Netflix. This room also has access to an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, washbasin and WC Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with a 42” smart TV and storage. Bedroom 3 is a smaller double room with 40” smart TV and compact storage. Bedroom 4 has the option of being a super king bedroom or a twin room for your guests, this also has a 40” smart TV and ample storage. The beautifully renovated main Bathroom has a large walk in shower plus a separate bathtub, washbasin and WC. Absolutely amazing house. It's so stylish and beautiful, but at the same time comfortable and practical. Everything we needed was there and it's right by the sea front. Will definitely be returning. Communication was great and the house was available early. Thanks again Siobhan.
Fantastic property located a stones throw from the seafront and restaurants. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A real home from home space in which to relax with friends or family. Will definitely be recommending to others looking to stay in the locality! Siobhan was quick to respond to all messages and faultless!
The neighbourhood is very friendly and the property is adjoined by 2 houses, so we ask you to keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm to respect our neighbours.
Exiting the property from the front, either turn left and within 2 minutes walk you will reach Cleethorpes main beach and promenade. Along this route you will also find lots of restaurants and coffee shops on Alexandra Road.
Or turn right out of the property to reach the main shopping street of St Peter’s Avenue with groceries, deli’s, clothing shops, a pharmacy and cafes.
Leaving the property from the rear you will head along Dolphin street which leads to Cleethorpes Market Place. There are mostly restaurants, bars and the famous Steels Corner House fish and chips.
A short walk further along Alexandra Road is Seaview Street Quarter which has cafes, restaurants, bars and shops for you to browse. A few steps further will bring you to Willy’s Wine Bar and Mucky Muldoons Irish Bar.
We recommend once you have arrived at the property to explore the resort of Cleethorpes mostly by foot, as everything is in walking distance. Albert Road has free parking with no restrictions, and we have a private parking space to the rear of the property (access via Dolphin Street). There is a bus stop located at the end of Albert road at the Library, plus the train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Various local Taxi firms are always available if required. Cycle hire is also available within walking distance located at the Train station
