Der Aufenthalt bei Menna war wunderbar. Sie ist sehr freundlich, alles war unkompliziert und sie war immer erreichbar. Die Wohnung und Gegend ist nur zu empfehlen!

Lovely bright, spacious apartment, with much-appreciated air-conditioning in all rooms. Well-positioned for our needs, and online access to taxi service allowed us to easily visit everywhere we wanted to. Menna is a fantastic host and checked that we had everything we needed during our stay.

We were a family of 4 with an elderly lady and child included. We used the apartment as a base. Menna is an exceptional, helpful, warm friendly host. She really goes above and beyond to fix any issues. Maadi is a lovely area to stay in. The apartment itself is excellent in terms of amenities. It has all that you need such as AC, washing machine, reasonable utensils to cook with etc. The building and grounds around the apartment are run down, there are building works around it making it hard to access the road by car easily and there are building works in the flat under it making the entrance very dusty unfortunately. This can be an issue if you plan to stay in it long hours but we didn’t . The pavements outside the building have some man holes covered by plastic sheets which one of us nearly tripped on. I would stay here again though because the location is convenient , price is good for a base to explore from, and Menna is exceptional!

Menna is a fantastic host. She is really friendly and i think caring. It was quite a culture shock arriving in Egypt from Australia and she helped me find my way around on that first day. I was travelling alone and she checked up on me more than once via text. Menna's place is full of light and is quite well equiped. I would recommend staying at her place. It is also perfect for a couple. A little bit hard to find because it is set back off the road, but she makes sure to meet you on the street. On another note.... You can expect to see lots of cats and dogs around the area. The mosques are pretty loud at 4:30am. But that's Egypt No one in Egypt gives you a top sheet so if that is important, bring your own or at least bring a sarong .
