Great communication from the host. Good location and easy access at check in… Regarding the amenities, I had everything I needed and I stayed two months. However, I would recommend a place like this for a couple weeks max. The walls are somewhat thin and the couch isn’t very comfortable. And for the price I would expect the family room to be a little more comfortable.

For short-term stays this place is definitely doable. Long-term is another story. I stayed for 3 months for an internship and twice that I know of, my space was entered while I was not home. I had pillows in front of the door, the one that I was told not to access, for temp control (old house kind of drafty) and they were moved away from the door when I came home from work twice and one time left the door unlocked. My hosts were very responsive and were understanding of my concerns but those didn't stop potentially maintenance from coming in even though I had not requested any maintenance to be done. I never got confirmation from my hosts if maintenance did or did not enter. For some this might not be a big deal but being a woman on my own in this place for an extended period, it made it very difficult to get sound sleep for a while.
