This place was great for our mom’s weekend getaway. We just stayed in the house, relaxed, watched lots of Netflix, and ate food that we brought! The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook the food that we brought! I loved that there was tons of throw blankets for us to cuddle up on the couch and watch tv. Beds and linens were comfortable! The only negative thing that they could not have predicted was that the house is surrounded by farm fields and they had just spread cow manure on them before our check in so it smelled pretty strongly outside so we were unable to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit as much as we would have liked to. They had a diffuser running in the house and with the doors and windows closed the smell wasn’t that bad inside. Overall the location was great for our trip and although we didn’t leave the house it seemed that there were plenty of things to do like breweries, wineries, and hiking trails if that was something you were looking for.

Beautiful cabin, LOVED having two bathroom and access to the hot tub. The location is so serene but also twenty minutes from a ton of food and shops. We loved Clementine for dinner and breakfast at The Little Grill was insanely good, both were about a 20 min drive. The smart TV was great, we did need to sign in with our own profile so keep that in mind! The home was spotless and all the kitchen utensils you could need were provided along with all the bathroom amenities you could want. The only downside for us (which is totally not the fault of the owners) was that they were fertilizing the surrounding fields with manure which made being outside kind of unpleasant, but the inside of the air bnb smelled great thanks to the owners setting up an essential oil diffuser! Just something to keep in mind if you are visiting during the spring and an expected consequence of being in beautiful sprawling farmland. We loved being here and will absolutely return again in the summer!

We loved this Airbnb! It was beautiful, clean, and had access to nature, with wonderful hiking nearby. It was more space than we needed for a family of 3, but was a perfect home base for a stay in the Shenandoah Valley region. Their recommendations were excellent, especially Smiley’s Ice Cream!
