First, this “apartment” is in a hotel, yes, it’s a unit in a hotel. The listing said apartment when I reserved it, buts it’s not. Next, the host called me at 9pm one day asking for a favor to not be in the unit from 7am-630pm the next day because of painting. When I had an issue with the timing he asked “why are you being difficult”. People renting the hotel rooms would smoke weed outside their rooms and I contacted host about it and he wrote back “I can’t control what people smoke”. I tried to leave and only pay for days I had stayed but he wouldn’t allow that to happen, stay was miserable. I also had contacted Airbnb about the smoking of weed outside but they wanted me to go record a video of it, that’s a hard ask. He called me and asked why I was contacting and writing messages on Airbnb too. The area isn’t the best, you can pay for a hotel room near Kingwood or other areas for the price of this Airbnb, if you’re smart, and want a safe and calming environment, you won’t stay here.

The place was amazing for the last minute I needed. I was accommodated to immediately as I arrived. No hassle. Got the keys and went to sleep even though arrived at 1am. It’s fairly close to the airport so wasn’t a hassle to get there. I would recommend to anybody staying in Houston !
