Although we had an enjoyable stay in Maple lodge and the location is amazing the cleaning of the lodge prior to guests arriving needs significant improvement. We found two dirty socks left by the previous user on the floor of our bedroom, the kitchen sink was still stained and needed cleaning with bleach to remove them, cobwebs around the ceiling in the communal bathroom and small midge flies in bath in en suite. Unfortunately not what we expect when paying for a luxury lodge! Plugs in both bathrooms didn't work so unable to fill sinks with water to wash. Also insufficient large glasses for number of guests. I sent a message during our stay but got no reply. Spoke to a member of staff who said they would pass out concerns onto the manager but again have had no response.

we had 7 people staying altogether which is a lot to please, however, we were all planning our next stay when we got home! everything we wished for was there in such a beautiful location, the home setup was really perfect for our stay, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a getaway.
