Amazing location to experience a Finnish summer of lake swimming and sauna. Eventhough we were in the middle of the worst storm in decades we still had fun

I am very split. On the one hand the host was amazing, very responsive and friendly. Also allowed us to check as early as we wanted, much appreciated! The outdoor area is wonderful, the lake and furniture are beautiful, waterfront is easily accessible. On the other hand the place was VERY dirty. There were huge balls of dog hair, the floors were very dusty, dirty dished and silverware in cabinets and smushed dead bugs all over the walls. Multiple rusty items within a baby’s reach (small bins and a mouse trap). The thing that bothered us the most was the stuffed/dead animals literally all over. My 3 year old found small bones & skulls in a toy box. The dear were in the pics but the fish heads, scattered bones and framed bugs, bat and tarantula were not. Upkeep is lacking, light in shower and gas stovetop don’t work. No screens on windows (was super hot and stuffy). We found the request to leave the bedding in bathroom ridiculous considering cleaning fee & how dirty we got the place
