Positive first: The place was stunning itself. The house and the whole interior was lovely and clean and looked exactly as shown on the pictures. Communication went smoothly and so did the check-in. Unfortunately there was a lot of dirt and bird shit on the outside area around the pool and the parapet, so we had to spend half an hour on our first day to clean this area properly by ourselves to use it well and barefoot. During our whole week there was not as much dirt there as on our first day, even though we left the house for hours, so I don’t know when the house was last cleaned. The pool was also quite dirty first, why we messaged the housekeeper who sent us a pool cleaner, which was nice, but in my opinion should’ve been done before guests ask for it. We were also a bit disappointed that we couldn’t use the bedroom under the pool, that was clearly shown on the pictures. It seems not to be accessible for guests. I hope this was just an exception. We still had a good week there.

Muchas Gracias for a lovely stay at Villa Soriento in Son Bou; best long sandy beaches on Menorca. The view from the Villa was exquisite, decor charming and all the necessary amenities. Bedroom closets had handy built in cabinetry which was essential since space was tight. The linen change midway through our stay was much appreciated after unusual global warming weather pattern. Tonia - our local Villa contact - could not have been more responsive; gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and ensured we had a treasured birthday dinner reservation at Es Cranc in Fornells. And, she made a wonderful horseback excursion happen. The lockbox entry was so handy so we could come and go and not worry about key. Note to future guests - bring mosquito repellent due to location of Villa in beautiful green space area on hill and lush lawn/garden around Villa.

We had a nice time at Patrice’s villa! Check in and check out was smooth with clear instructions. The view was lovely and the house was very clean and well stocked which was much appreciated. One star deducted as the TV was missing (it would have been nice to known this in advance so we could bring an extra iPad etc) and the gate for the pool was also missing. I have 2 small children and booked this place specifically as it had a pool fence so it was disappointing that the gate was not there despite emailing Patrice to check the glass fence was there and functional. Recommended if you don’t have a young family!
