Casa do Rio is an independent house on the 70 hectares estate Monte do Zambujeiro. Located by the mira river in a lush valley 3 km from Vila Nova de Milfontes. Has 1 suite, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom, barbecue and veranda with hot water shower. Perch for more than 150 different species of birds. Located in a beautiful valley only 3 km from Vila Nova de Milfontes and in the heart of the Natural Park, Casa do Rio was restored from the ruins of an old animal shed using traditional methods combined with modern comfort. The bedroom and living room combined in an open space measuring about 40 m2 , with wooden ceiling and a massive window overlooking the river, give to this villa a magical atmosphere. Overlooking the river, hills and valley is patio with an hot water shower and sunbeds turned Southwest. Estate's swimming pool is around 50m away. This is a saltwater pool. It's located up the hill and offers a beautiful view over the valley, river and hills! The bed can be double (2x2m) or twin double (1x2m) . Bathroom has a bathtub, a shower, toilet and washbasin, and an amazing view to the river. In the living room there is a sofa bed, TV with dvd player and hi-fi system. The kitchen is equipped with 2 electric hobs, small electric oven and microwave, fridge and freezer and washing machine. There is a table in the kitchen which sits 4 people. If asked for in advance we can most likely arrange a crib or an extra bed. Maximum capacity of the house is 2 adults plus 2 children.
