You are just minutes away from the famous San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo, and Alamodome; a 10-minute drive to "The Pearl," and just 10-12 minutes from Lackland AFB, home of the USAF Basic Military Training facility. Many of San Antonio’s most popular “local” restaurants, brew pubs, and walking trails are also just minutes away. Close by is the Blue Star Complex, the starting point of the very popular Mission Reach Trail; Kuenstler Brewing; La Tuna; and many “South Town” shops and restaurants that are very popular with the locals. A car is essential, but all downtown venues and events are very close, a 5-minute drive to virtually everywhere downtown.
