Large open area with couches, plenty of space for children and toys Small kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave This was formerly an office, the kitchen and half bath is small , but it’s all there. All full size kitchen appliances, Later it was used for a rental , so the washer , dryer and shower were added, which explains why they aren’t in the usual placement. This building is a duplex, so if you need more space, also book Family Lodge. Easy on and off from HWY 36 If you are traveling HWY 36 , this is an easy off and on. We are approximately two miles west of Walmart. Plenty of places to eat in Brookfield. One of our favorites is Cup of Joy coffee shop There are many interesting historical places along this route

Lillian was an excellent host, and she had great communication. She responded promptly and was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated her! The home was clean, and the location was central to the area. The description and pictures were very accurate, but it was a bit hard to picture the house’s layout. In order to access one bedroom, it’s necessary to walk through another bedroom. This works well for family units, but guests who aren’t related might feel uncomfortable with the lack of privacy. Also, one bedroom has a curtained bathroom in the corner. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Walmart is about two miles. It is beside Hwy 36 , and not too far from a railroad. So there is some traffic noise and occasionally a train whistle in the distance
