We stayed in Barn Meadow Cottage for a week. The property was well equipped, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. A great base to explore more of Suffolk and Norfolk borders.

Barn Meadows cottage is a wonderful place to stay. We spent Christmas 2022 there and it was perfect. Its slap bang in the middle of the village of Yoxford, two minutes walk from the local corner shop. The cottage itself is very pretty, well-designed and comfortable. A log fire in the sitting room adds a touch of warmth and cosiness. Underfloor heating in some of the rooms is very welcome. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean & the beds very pleasant to sleep in - just the right balance between softness & firmness. The bathroom in the main house is terrific. The annex in the stables is lovely and self-contained if you want to sleep there, although the shower is a little weak. But this is our own quibble. We loved staying there and hope to come back.

The property comprises of a 2 bedroomed cottage with 1 bathroom, and a separate stable annexe with 1 bedroom and an En-suite bathroom. It is well equipped with manuals available for each type of equipment. I was pleased to find a manual for the induction hob as I had never used one before. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms light and airy. Games were provided for children and treats were provided for the dog. The nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes drive but the local convenience store is well stocked and is open 7 days a week. The cottage is close to the A12 and the tourist route. Lovely beaches and interesting villages are only a short drive away. It is easy to miss the entrance to Park Place when you first arrive. It is next to the entrance to the Village Hall Car park. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Yoxford with my daughter and 2 granddaughters aged 5 and 7 and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely house and very comfortable. Specious and modern kitchen. No towels at all or bedding. Could do with a bin collection calendar on the notice board as we missed the collection day Overall a lovely place to stay
