The house and property looked just like the pictures and were as described in the listing. There were unexpected bonuses that weren't listed, including a jetted tub and a ping pong table in the basement. Also, the gazebo by the water has seating and fairy lights that are not shown in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There is an air conditioner, and there are also multiple screened doors, which made it easy to regulate the temp and air flow. The wide wrap-around porch allowed us to still spend time outside even though it unfortunately rained during our entire trip, and we didn't get to go in the lake. We did walk down and check out the water, though, and it did look very clear for swimming! There is plenty of firewood provided for the fire pit. The area was very quiet; there is one house kind of close next door, but there is a tree line, which makes it still feel quite private. Very simple check-out list!

Wonderful vacation spot - at the end of a quiet road, with expansive views of the water along one side through the trees. Very cute home that felt like it had all the amenities we desired and some we didn’t even expect - like the wonderful tub! We grilled steaks and sat by the campfire, took walks down to the nearby boat launch area, and enjoyed the many places for outdoor relaxing. The hosts were super helpful and wrote a great guide. The check out process was so simple - I’ve been to places with a half day list of chores. This was very simple and easy and didn’t take away from that “on vacation feel” at the end of the week. Everything felt like it was well made and accounted for. The tv worked with one push button, no hunting for several remotes to get something on! The WiFi was also easy to access. The hosts have obviously taken pains to make it easy for you to relax on this lake, and just focus on rejuvenating. Comfy furniture, nice beds, fluffy towels - we loved it.

We had such an amazing weekend kayaking and relaxing at this house, definitely would recommend this spot! We also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub which was a happy suprise.
