Our experience with the cottage was disappointing. Provided photos did not match the reality of the place. It’s more outdated, there was smelly garbage left in the kitchen and skylight leaked. The listing featured photos of pillows and warm blankets. But we found completely bare beds in every bedroom. As experienced renters, we understand that linens, pillow, duvet covers and towels are often not included, but this was the first time we encountered such an extreme lack of basic bedding necessities. The basement where 3 bedrooms are located was freezing cold. Most of the vents there were taped so no heat gets through and only one small heater was provided. When we reached out to the owner, explaining our situation and the presence of 5 children aged 1-6, they callously refused to provide us with duvets and pillows. This lack of empathy and refusal to address our concerns left us deeply dissatisfied with our stay, looks like the owner doesn’t care about customers, just their profit.

Great listing by Anna! The property was beautiful, so much to do and lots of seating for the amount of guests, indoor and outdoor. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the beautiful kitchen and getting ice cream in Bobcaygeon which was a surprising 7 min drive. Neighbors are also very friendly.

Our stay was perfect! Lots of seating for all our guests and plenty of room in the front and backyard for outdoor games. The new dock was awesome and the water was crystal clear. Anna was awesome to book through, the house was spotless and had everything you need. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the neighbour Bob was the best! Very funny and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Anna was wonderful and always available if needed. She ensured our checkin went smoothly and the place was amazing. Great waterfront, lots of beds and lots of places to hang out inside and outside. Cute location for any type of getaway!
