I booked in for graduation week 2024. My children were furious with me because they were worried about it being safe since Victoria and Brian live in the house. I could not have felt more welcome or safe! The house is absolutely adorable, and Victoria was very interesting to talk with as she has lots of interests and has had multiple careers. Brian was on a business trip, returning for my last night. He is very friendly, and quite the gardener! Einstein, the resident pup is a love! I would love to stay here again if I ever return to Boulder. A couple of things to consider that worked fine for me but may need to be adjusted for others. One of the rooms has the bathroom next to the room, the other room uses the bathroom downstairs. There are no black out curtains so when the sun comes up, the room lights up. I loved the look the curtains gave the room, so I was fine with the light! In closing I would like to assure everyone that Victoria is passionate about making your stay fantastic!
Victoria and Brian were welcoming hosts, and Einstein was a fast friend! Their home is lovely and in a great location, with restaurants and a grocery store nearby and Pearl Street just a mile away. It's easy to get anywhere in Boulder and beyond. The bed and linens were very comfortable. If you stay in the Spa Suite, be aware that the bathroom is on the first floor and has a lovely soaking tub but doesn't have a shower. I overlooked this detail when booking. However, Victoria was very gracious in preparing the upstairs bathroom with a shower when the other guest left, and I could use that for the rest of my stay. I would definitely stay again!
