FIVE STARS! Quiet is my number one priority so I can sleep during the day because I work nights. I don’t understand it, but this space is the most quiet place I have ever stayed in and it is located in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo. Not a peep! And Julie was so thoughtful as to black out the bedroom windows. I never had an issue over the five weeks I stayed. I had many wonderful conversations with Julie who was also very responsive to my several requests. She really does think of everything for her guests. This house felt like a home with the thoughtfully placed decorations, unique furnishings, fully stocked kitchen and wonderfully done renovation. Top notch and beautiful Victorian all the way! Well landscaped backyard/courtyard. Neighborhood is super cute with lots of character (they haven’t mowed down all the historic buildings yet) And within five/ten minutes of everything you could need or want. If I return I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks!!

By far my best AirBNB stay to date . Tom and Julie were warm, affable , excellent hosts, who definitely have share a passion for what they do. This place is dripping with charm. Gorgeous gardens to relax in, quite, fully outfitted, lovely neighbors, safe parking, and the downtown’s many restaurants, coffee shops, and Art museum are only minutes away on foot! Highly recommend a stay with Tom and Julie!

Our stay was great! A friend and I lived in this house during a 12 week long summer internship and it worked out great for us. There was plenty of space for the two of us and had everything we needed. We pretty much just brought clothes and a few personal belongings. The house was clean and feels very homey with all of the beautiful furniture and artwork. Tom and Julie were amazing hosts — welcoming us with kindness and providing lots of recommendations of things to do in the area. They took such good care of us during our stay and we will miss them! The location is walkable to downtown and we enjoyed many walks around Kalamazoo during our stay here. Nothing but positive things to say about this place — book it!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Rose Place Properties. I highly recommend this place. I stayed at Tom and Julie's Victorian home for a month and it was exceptional. The house was picture perfect and comfortable! The sleeping accommodations were amazing, I slept so comfortably and the house is fully stocked with any necessities you need. They would respond quickly whenever I needed their help! I would love to book again with them whenever I'm in the area. Thank you for making me feel so welcome here in Kalamazoo!

Tom & Julie are always going to be my go to hosts whenever I visit Kalamazoo. As with my previous stays, this house was very well maintained and had everything you needed & more! Tom & Julie are amazing hosts and go above and beyond to make sure their guests’ expectations are met and exceeded! Once again, I would highly recommend this place!
