The host was friendly and offered me an extra blanket when I asked for one, so communication was pretty easy. The place is overall clean, except for the pillow, which has some stains. The biggest concern during my stay was that the door of my room could not be locked from both the inside and outside. I had to place my luggage behind the door to gain some sense of security and privacy when I slept at night. Overall, apart from the privacy issue, it was a good stay and worth the price.

Honest Review. I regret to say that our first Airbnb experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our privacy was compromised. The constant monitoring and accusations from the wife, particularly regarding wearing shoes inside, created a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere. Firstly, the lack of privacy was unsettling. Hosts would walk into the room every time we left for the day. It seemed as though there were no boundaries between the host and guests, with intrusive remarks and constant supervision throughout our stay. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy our time there. Furthermore, the strict policy of not allowing shoes inside the house and not allowing the use of kitchen was enforced which in turn got our shoes soaking wet which resulted in us having no shoes for the remainder of our stay (7 days) and no where to cook our food. While we understand the desire to maintain cleanliness, being repeatedly accused of violating this rule by the wife.

Nous avons passée une semaine chez Saqib avec mon copain. Notre arrivée s’est passée sans souci, le logement était comme inscrit sur la description, facile d’accès et propre. A notre arrivée, Saqib nous a demandé quelques règles en matières d’ingrédients alimentaires et le fait de ne pas ramener de la nourriture à l’étage, ce que nous avons respecté. Nous avons eu quelques difficultés dans notre communication et pas mal de désaccord avec Saqib, c’est bien la première fois que cela m’arrive sur AIBNB… Mis à part ces quelques soucis, Saqib est un hôte accueillant et son logement a un très bon rapport qualité prix! Je recommande.

Saqib was nice, responsive, and helpful. The accommodation was accurate to the listing and had everything I needed. I recommend having a chat with Saqib if you’re new to the area. He was happy to give me some advice on getting settled in Brisbane that saved me a lot of money.
