Furnival Country Cottage is a cosy spot with great amenities, with beautiful gardens that added to the sense of privacy around the cottage. The helpful booklet of instructions and complimentary treats in the fridge were great touches too. I would definitely stay again.

We found the accommodation easily and followed the easy instructions to get inside. it was larger than we expected, well maintained and felt homely. There were sufficient provisions provided as well for breakfast and simple meals. We walked the short distance into town and found it's history very interesting. A visit to the tourist information office in the station is well worthwhile as is the town self guided walking tour. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to others who wanted to stay in the area.
