Comfortable 2 bedroom suite with fireplace with accompanying bathroom, including a huge Jacuzzi soaking tub! On the second floor of our 122 year old home, with access to great room, formal dining room, library and game room, a wrap around porch and a hot tub in the back yard. We are a true bed AND BREAKFAST. Guests who do not usually like to eat breakfast can have their food packed for a later meal. with adjacent guest kitchen ideal for extended or short stays. Your room has a king size bed and two twin beds. There is a table for eating or desk use and a comfortable reading chair. There is a closet with bath robes and a full sized dresser for extended stays. In the bathroom there are towels, and an assortment of shampoo , body wash, etc. The second floor also has a fully equipped, shared guest kitchen for longer stays where you will find complementary coffee, hot chocolate and teas.

Cheryl was very helpful in directing us to local points of interest and amenities. The accommodations were as described. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of antiquing in nearby Jamesport. Cheryl made sure to anticipate questions and many times addressed them before I could ask. As we are an older couple (with very bad knees), we would have been better with a main floor suite if there had been a king bed. We haven't done stairs in more than 4 years so that was our only adjustment. It was a wonderful stay and the large breakfast spread my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely a place of peace and tranquility!

Peaceful, small town feel. I love hearing the church bells announcing the time through out the day. Quiet safe neighborhood with sidewalks on most streets, many dog walkers can be seen walking in the road as there is not a lot of traffic.
There is not public transportation. Best to have a car or plan your own transportation through a service. Most basic needs are within a mile of the house, but for sight seeing or tourist attractions, plan ahead.
Parking is available in the paved, circular driveway, the gravel area beside that as well as along the street around each side of the property. Guest with particularly large vehicles such as semi or dump trucks may use a parking lot located around the block.

I am the mother of 9 and the grandmother of 41 and counting. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I serve a country breakfast but let me know of any special requirements and I will try to meet your specific diatary needs. I love hearing your stories, but I live a very full life and if you prefer to take your breakfast in the privacy of your suite or in the guest kitchen where there is a coffee maker, with complementry coffee, hot chocolate, or teas, I am fine with that too. I have an office and my own kitchen but the rest of the house and yard is for guests. I have another house I share with my husband but I make myself available at the Garden Manor Inn as needed.
