This was our second stay at Gracie Cottage, and once again we had the perfect getaway from the real world! It is so peaceful with wonderful views, and the outdoor bath is fantastic in the cooler weather.

We stayed at Gracie cottage for a 2 night stay, enjoyed the proximity to Montville for a great range of restaurants, Mapleton National Park for bushwalking. The home is located at the top of a ridge with beautiful views into the valley, easy to enjoy with 2 west facing decks. Spent a relaxing few hours in these spots. Home was well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, appreciated the slow combustion burner as the night temperatures dipped. Had no need to do any cooking, but kitchen had everything needed, fridge is a 2 door bar size, no freezer. Enjoyed a very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Gracie Cottage is far more prettier than the photos - such warmth , charm and character that’s comfortably furnished, including a toasty warm fire place. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped with local produce thoughtfully left for breakfast and a cheese platter to enjoy whilst relaxing on the verandah , enjoying the ever changing views of the mountains. There is a fire pit and an outdoor bath - such a relaxing experience- even bath salts are provided for guest enjoyment. The cottage has cute touches - pretty pottery plates and bowls, lovely art work and other interesting olde worlde touches. Outside is just breathe taking, different view from each of the 3 verandahs, the smell from the rose garden still lingers - pretty garden pots and water feature. The host Tracey is a genuine and caring lady - fantastic communication, goes out of her way to make ensure guest comfort.

We had an amazing stay at Gracie cottage. It’s incredibly peaceful and a great place to unwind. The cottage has been decorated so thoughtfully and has everything you need for your stay. Tracey has very responsive and gave us some great recommendations to check out in the area. We’ll be back!
