Excelente lugar , los anfitriones respondían nuestras dudas inmediatamente, hermoso entorno y muy buen servicio
I would like to say that Rodrigo and Ximena were excellent hosts. They made sure we were looked after and were quick to respond to any questions or requests. The view from their place is stunning. The house is well decorated One item that should be highlighted is the road to get to the house is extremely challenging if you are not used to driving in Peru. It is very rough and very steep towards the end and if you don't have cell data or GPS it would be challenging to find. Some minor concerns was a foul smell coming from one of the bathrooms which caused my son to have to relocate, and the presence of ants and bugs in various locations in the house. It should also be noted the house is not heated and the wood fireplace does not really heat the house.
An absolutely stunning place of peace and relaxation! We stayed for a month and it was one of the most healing month of our lives. The house is cozy and spacious. It has a cultural yet modern style. The design was very thoughtful for the comfort of guests. The hosts were so accommodating and willing to help with whatever is needed. They respond quickly and are so helpful with information around town. They even found us a fan! The team that cares for the condo are also on it! They respond very fast if you need anything. Their service is always 100% and they were very respectful. Norgan is the best!! They guard the gate at the front of the condo, so it felt super safe. We didn’t even lock the sliding doors at night. Weekly cleanings provided by Norma was amazing. She made sure our sheets and towels were super clean. And she does a great job with the bathrooms and kitchen too! Kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances you would need to cook or even grill. They even have an air fryer and panini grill. They even stocked it with pasta, rice, wine, chips, crackers and other condiments. It really shows how thoughtful the hosts are about their guests. All of the furniture was comfortable and the wifi speed fast. In the living room, we didn’t use the fireplace but the fireproofing inside it gave off a cheese smell. They have a variety of incense to help with this. They even have games and reading material for your group to enjoy! We never used the TV but it’s there. Having a bathroom in every room and every floor made it so convenient. If you have a big group, it’s easy to accommodate them here. The water is HOT and the water pressure is great. Not too strong and not too light. Just perfect. The view is awe inspiring! Waking up to the view every day reminded us how beautiful life is. We spent much of our time admiring the view and doing meditation, yoga, or stretches outdoors. It felt so easy to meditate and practice gratitude here because of the beauty and majesty of the place. The terrace/patio area was one of our favorite hangout spots. It was so great to enjoy the view outside day or night. The only thing is if someone flushes the toilet or uses the shower, the sewage smell sometimes get pushed out of the covered sewage ditch near the terrace. The weather during our stay (August/September) was sunny and windy. In the sun it’s hot, and in the shade it can get pretty chilly. Keep in mind that it’s dry here and you might want to bring a humidifier if you’re used to more humid climates. We had a few nose bleeds until we adapted to the weather. It’s also about 9,990 ft in elevation, if you need to adjust to the altitude. The stairs on the side of the complex was a great workout too if you’d like to climb stairs. They were doing construction during our stay, so there is a bit of noise throughout the daytime starting early morning til right before sun down. But we didn’t mind at all, we even made friends with some of the construction workers. All super friendly people! Getting a taxi is super easy and fast. They even do deliveries of any grocery items you need. They’re all amazing people who want to help. It was usually 70-80 soles to go into Urubamba and back. And they also took us around several shops at a time. Overall, our month here in Peru was a huge blessing. We appreciate the life and beauty here. This is definitely a place to be, where you are always taken care of, watched over, and cared for. I hope you have a chance to enjoy this experience too!
